We're a sanctuary and playground for creativity, courage and finding our way back to what matters most - together.

Our Story

We live in a world that demands we perform, produce, and prove—on repeat.

In response, many of us - especially those who carry deep sensitivity, caring spirits, and a longing to create beauty - have learned to shrink ourselves and prioritize others’ comfort over the gifts of our unique strengths.

We've been taught to see creativity as selfish instead of sacred. To dismiss our inner knowing as "too much" or "not enough." To move faster when our souls crave slowness, to harden when our nature is to feel deeply, to stay surface-level when we long for authentic connection.

We're paying the price with exhaustion, isolation, and a quiet grief for the lives we're not living. And we’re losing touch with what it means to be truly well: Rested without guilt. Expressed without apology. Connected without losing ourselves. Alive in our own skin.

But something in us is remembering.

Creativity isn’t a luxury.
Community isn’t optional.
Aliveness is our birthright.

We’re waking up to the limits of who we were taught we’re supposed to be. The world is unraveling - and with it, so are the old stories about what it means to be a creative, emotional and relational spirit in a world that fears our full aliveness.

The Curiosity That Birthed Us

The Unlearning Studio was born from three wonderings:

What if reclaiming our creativity, courage, and connection is how we become the medicine the world is asking for?

What if healing isn’t self-improvement, but returning to right relationship with ourselves, each other, and the Earth?

What if being a fully alive and attuned human being is already a creative, courageous act?

We aren’t a school or a brand.

We're a practice space and playground - a living, breathing studio where creativity, courage, and connection lead. We believe…

Creativity isn't just for artists.

It's how all of us make sense of life, feel our way through hard things, and imagine new possibilities for ourselves and this world.

Connection isn't just a buzzword.

It's how we remember we're not alone, and how we learn and unlearn together.

And Aliveness?

It's what returns home when we connect to our courage, stop performing, and start listening—to ourselves, each other, and to the world around us.

What We Believe

Culture is handmade. We shape it with every choice.
And creativity, courage, and connection are cultural medicine.
Right now, we need a lot of it.

We are made to create and connect.
As creative seekers and sensitive souls, we birth new realities—ideas, communities, possibilities. We make meaning through our hands as much as our hearts, weaving connections that hold the world together.

When we create, we remember we are generators of life itself. When we connect, we bridge souls. When we make meaning, we transform our experience into wisdom that guides and heals.

Living authentically as a creative, feeling being is a courageous act.
In systems that reward endless output over cyclical rhythms, cultures that silence intuition, structures that undervalue compassion and care - choosing to honor our full selves requires daily innovation and bravery.

When we embrace our gifts, desires, and voices, we become more fully alive and expand our capacity to reimagine what's possible not just for ourselves but for all those in our care.

Tending changes things.
When we commit to nurturing creativity, courage, connection, and aliveness, things shift. Our nervous systems exhale. The space inside and around us softens. Ideas and possibilities begin to flow through us.

And the things we make, the ways we show up, the lives we shape - carry a different kind of power. Not polished or performative, but generous, generative and real.

We become an invitation to live life in Full color, and the world around us responds in kind.

We start to create a world where people trust their unique strengths and share them generously. Where everyone feels deeply rooted in who they are while staying connected to our shared humanity. And where creativity flows through how we solve problems, build relationships, and imagine new possibilities.

How We Practice

We steward the conditions for awakening and transformation - through companionship, invitations, practice, and a little bit of play.

We focus on unlearning - gently unwinding the habits and beliefs that keep us stuck in hustle, performance, disconnection, and shame.

We use creative practices - art-making, design, music, cooking, travel and other hands on experiences - to help people listen, feel and discover new ways of seeing and sensing. No need to be "good at art."

We use conversation and coaching to process insights, deepen understanding, and explore possibilities.

We gather in circles and community to practice being in relationship in ways that are kind, honest, and alive.

When you join us, you'll be working with your hands, coming to know yourself more deeply, and exploring what matters most - in circle with other creative seekers who are doing the same.

What We Practice

Who We Are

The Unlearning Studio is shaped by a growing circle of creatives, facilitators, space-holders, and cultural reweavers.

We’re not sages on stages - we’re glue-stick-passers, question-askers, fire-tenders, and fellow wayfinders.

We walk beside you as you unwind, remember, create, and grow.

Together, we’re cultivating a culture of creative companionship - where getting it right matters less than showing up real, and where you’re not just welcomed as you are, but held in the mystery of who you’re still becoming.
