We’re a sanctuary and playground for anyone ready to unlearn and explore new possibilities together.

Our Story

The Unlearning Studio began with a deep ache and a quiet knowing:
That the world doesn’t need more productivity;
It needs more aliveness.

And that aliveness lives in the places we’ve been taught to doubt:
the quiet, the tender, the too-sensitive, the slow, the intuitive.

We’re artists, facilitators, travelers, and fierce feelers.
We’ve burned out, unraveled, and reimagined while trying to build a better world.
We’ve followed joy and possibility like a thread through the chaos.

We know what it’s like to have our feet in two worlds:
changing systems while changing ourselves,
living in what is while creating what could be.

This studio was born to walk with you through the wilderness of our unwinding
and into the wildness of our becoming.

What is Unlearning?

Unlearning is how we become conduits for possibility.

Unlearning is a spiral and a living practice, not a linear path. We reveal patterns, honor what they gave, grieve what they cost, explore something different, return to what's true, and reweave something new.

Then we do it again and again, each time discovering new depths to ourselves and each other.

Why Unlearning?

We live in a world that teaches us to override our bodies, distrust our inner knowing, and chase lives that often look good yet feel hollow.

This disconnection ripples outward into anxious children who can't name their feelings, burnt-out parents running on empty, workplaces that prize productivity over humanity, economics built on hoarding and constant consumption, communities too exhausted from standing against what’s harming us to truly imagine what could heal us.

Unlearning is how we gently loosen those inherited patterns
and make space for something wiser to emerge.

When we unlearn, we begin to reclaim what’s always lived inside us:

Creativity

Courage

Care

Connection

When we reawaken these capacities, we change more than our own inner lives. We begin to reshape our families, systems, and shared futures.

Inner aliveness helps weave the fabric of outer reimagining.

And in our fragmented world, we very much need people who are rooted, awake and able to dream differently for our future.

What We Do

The Unlearning Studio is a way of being together: a sanctuary for unwinding and exploring that lives wherever we meet.…

We offer an ecosystem of support for transformation.

Deep coaching for navigating inflection points. Creative gatherings for accessible practice, play, and community. Immersive journeys for full-body unlearning through travel and intensive experience. You know what you need. We trust you to find your way to what's right for you.

We gather virtually and in person.

What binds our experiences together isn't the format; it's the feeling. The way we tend to presence, relationship, and rhythm and the commitment we hold to gather in ways that nourish, not extract.

We draw inspiration from ancestral technologies of connection and creativity.

Think embroidery circles, quilting bees, and bread-braiding traditions that have always woven making with meaning. When we stir, stitch, mend, dye, weave, knead, and chat, we invite conversations that begin with presence rather than words. Rather than talking about creating, we create while we connect.

When we gather around different things we become different.

We unlearn the trance of autopilot. We defy the gravity of polarization and begin to tend the space between. We trust that when conditions are cultivated with care, necessary and beautiful things spring from our heads, hearts, and hands.

Who We Are

The Unlearning Studio is a growing circle of coaches, creatives, and cultural reweavers.

We’re not sages on stages. We ARE glue-stick-passers, question-askers, fire-tenders, and fellow wayfinders.

We walk beside you as you unwind, remember, create, and grow.

Together, we’re cultivating a culture of creative companionship - where getting it right matters less than showing up real, and where you’re not just welcomed as you are, but held in the mystery of who you’re still becoming.
