Your Questions, Answered

  • The Unlearning Studio is a coaching, workshop, and retreat space for leaders, creatives, and seekers ready to question what they've inherited and reclaim what's genuinely theirs. Founded by Alice Chen, it offers 1:1 coaching, online creative workshops, organizational facilitation, and immersive retreats — all rooted in the belief that personal transformation and cultural transformation are inseparable.

  • Unlearning is the practice of gently loosening the beliefs, patterns, and inherited stories that no longer serve us — not to fix ourselves, but to make space for something wiser and more authentic to emerge. It's less about adding new things and more about clearing what's been layered over who we really are.

  • It's for leaders navigating complexity and questioning the inherited playbook. For creatives who want a community that takes their joy seriously. For humans who sense something needs to change and are ready to do the real work of figuring out what's theirs to transform. If you've ever felt like you've been living someone else's version of your life — you belong here.

  • Art & Alchemy is a monthly online creative workshop where participants make things with their hands while exploring themes like hope, resourcefulness, visibility, and abundance. Sessions are 90 minutes, cost $20, and require no artistic experience — just curiosity and a willingness to play. It's the lowest-stakes, highest-joy entry point into The Unlearning Studio community.

  • Reclamation is a multi-day immersive retreat experience for leaders and creatives ready to do deep personal transformation work. It combines reflective practice, creative making, and the transformative power of place to create conditions for shifts you can't think your way into. Launching fall 2026 — you can join the waitlist now.

  • Coaching is personal, ongoing, and built around your specific situation — ideal for leaders navigating transitions, questioning inherited patterns, or designing what comes next with intention. Workshops are community-based, accessible, and designed for regular creative practice and connection. Many people start with a workshop and deepen into coaching over time.
